T is for Trust Trump

Writer: Author, Author!Author, Author!

If I've learned one thing from our Summer 7s, it's a new narrative: Verify before trusting an online source. Last Thursday's salon began with health talk and wellness updates. Did you know reforming the healthcare system is part of Trump's Agenda 47? (Check it out!) MG experienced new hospital protocols during two E.R. visits with her father. She knows that "moving the ocean liner fueled by Big Pharma off the dock will take a lot of little tugboats." The same adage applies to every segment of the political landscape looming 107 days in the future. Everyone wants something. The task is daunting but doable.

We're also in a different place now, post-July 13 assassination attempt. It has forced a shift to a new direction. Mary Grace believes the new course is a positive one. For Christians, causes are not our ideology because we stand on one cause, Jesus Christ is our LORD. Still, as conservative voters, and despite the increased sense of totalitarianism, we owe God our allegiance, while respecting those in authority. But when the State becomes more of a god—freedom is the only firm foundation for politics. As Christians crouch inside the set of values offered by the free will of God and our Bill of Rights, the big tent Republican Party now includes Hindus and Buddhists, making a case for religious liberties. Outside this bubble, public shaming fuels the news cycles with taunts as Christian Nationalists in a zero-sum game where the winner takes all. Is it worth it?

If I've learned anything else by inviting Mary Grace into our home, it's a new appreciation for Donald Trump as an individual. According to Mary Grace, we've been in a nine-year boot camp since 2016, fighting our information warfare in the trenches. Lacking guiding principles, extremes such as lawfare, false media narratives [daily], framing of General Flynn, Russiagate instigated by HRC, rigged elections, and new kinds of political campaigns are still the hidden or visible landmines. The soul of our nation is at stake, and how we responded in the moment of a near assassination is the blueprint for dealing with terror and treason. Did you see one candidate with keen survival instincts?  He remains the existential threat to the Statists, but he won't pay the ransom. Why J.D. Vance as VP? He represents a new generation, working class, enlisted as a Marine, from the Rustbelt, and none of this fits the mold. These are true symbols of America, and Donald Trump knows it. He believes everyone will prosper if a "Father of the Nations" wins in November.

As MJ moves to influence social media platforms and programs, crossing over into politics and religion, she is aware of a perverse spirit that moves amidst both realms. She is accused of not being "Christian enough" by hardcore leftists. Worse yet, is the Jezebel Spirit MG sees among Believers—destructive counter-spirits that cannot coexist with a person doing the will of the Lord.

She heard it from our salon: "My prayer group questions if Trump is a Christian, e.g. doesn't name the name of Jesus." Yet. "J.D. Vance isn't a fit as a Catholic." According to who? These are two contentious examples of a codependent relationship between Christians tolerating political influences or coming across as religious superiority. Or both. Often, we don't want to rock the boat even though many churches made secret decisions during COVID-19. Many of us tolerate political correctness without objection for fear of being polarized. Are we exhibiting "Jezebel's influences" by demanding that our candidate be exactly like the idols worshipped in political circles? It's a peculiar model in the 21st century and one that followers of Christ must reckon with.

MG said, "What we allow will continue. Rather than applying a spiritual litmus test for Donald Trump, look at his motives when he governed:

  • sanctity of life (appointing three conservative, Christians (one was a Catholic) to SCOTUS as justices

  • prosperity for all, Agenda 47

  • and a future for his children—good jobs, no drugs, two genders, less taxation, safety in our streets.

The majority of Americans want these things. God never puts perfect people in leadership so we won't worship them..."

We all agreed it was God who saved President Trump from the bullet, and that alone should unify us as a body of voters. Evil didn't win that day, but that's not to say it has dropped out of the race.

Other Ticklers in our #6 Talk:

  • Project 2025 is not the end of democracy! Sullied and demonized by Marxist propagandists in the media, Trump was wise to separate himself from The Heritage Foundation is already vetting 10,000 replacements for jobs in middle management of our government. Effectively draining the swamp...

  • Todd C and Amanda Grace in a recent panel discussion encounter the "religious spirit" (pick it up at the 11:40-minute mark).

  • Prisons of Deception surface on social media. So Block or Bless, says MG because God does not desire the world to remain in the dark. When we take a stand, God will throw light on the depth of his scriptures. As the media blathers on about a revenge tour, we proclaim success where fruit is our tour de force.

  • Raindrops can fall on tiny seeds, creating fruit. And in this way we all become influencers. It's quite simple—see something, say something.

Takeaway: The Jezebel Spirit is a duplicitous one, much like a controlling device, used in media to pit people on the same side of heaven to divide and devour one another. Instead, develop a personal prayer strategy "in the spirit realm," following influencers like General Flynn, Dan Bongino, Tucker Carlson even the highly-charged Alex Jones. They continue to make predictions. We must continue to gather their headlines and connect the data dots by trusting truth in the tailwinds. Then we are better equipped to speak as informed citizens, retweeting, and causing a rumble about what they are saying. Why? "Because they know what they know."  MG closed with more encouraging words: God is bigger than the trends and data points.

To which the hostess would add, Leave a seat at the news roundtable for Jesus.

As my mother used to say, "It's not always what you say, but how you say it."

Hoping to see you at our final Summer 7 of #7 Series, Thursday, July 25th at 1:00 P.M.
